Notes:
My hourly rate is $125 per hour. Generally clients with earned income will not be eligible for pro bono representation. Clients with earned income but special circumstances which make my hourly rate prohibitive may pay the rate schedule listed above. To qualify for pro bono representation, the client must be below 125% of the US Poverty Guidelines as per Form I-864P as revised on 02/13/2009. The above referenced schedule of charges applies to any client earning 2.5 times the poverty line previously referenced. I urge all clients regardless of current earnings to communicate any special circumstances which have arisen from unemployment, underemployment or financial obligations related to large family size, child support, serious health conditions, or any of these issues combined with other income restrictions. All factors will be considered for a reduction of fees on a case-by-case basis. To facilitate this, the client will be required to provide me with financial information to establish their eligibility for the reduced fee schedule. Submission requirements are subject to change over time. When deciding I will consider income for the entire household and take into consideration client's support of family members outside the household as well.

Stated fees include representation at interviews for family-based adjustment, removal of conditions, "naturalization with issues", and affirmative asylum cases. I will follow up with authorities on any matter I undertake on your behalf. I will represent you until you are explicitly provided with notice that my representation has ended always in accordance with legal court rules regarding legal representation. A Master calendar hearing fee is charged for each appearance unless in attorney's opinion this constitutes a hardship for client and client is not responsible for numerous hearings. Required travel to the immigration court or USCIS offices is an additional fee payable as indicated on the fee schedule.

In cases in which affidavit is routinely or necessarily done (e.g., I-589, cancellation application, self-petitions and waivers) no fee is charged for the client's affidavit. In other situations a separate fee is charged for each affidavit prepared.

Our relationship will be governed by a contract entered into at the time representation begins. All fees will be agreed to at the time of the signing of the representation agreement and will be explicitly set forth therein. Any change in fees will be discussed prior to the rendering of services and will be agreed to by the client prior to the change taking effect. Fees will be set forth in writing always although the writing may be a separate one from the original contract. I will work with all clients to the greatest extent possible to render my legal services affordable based upon their ability to pay. The fee schedule is entirely discretionary and all fees will be expressly set by written contract between the attorney and client.
